Madison Academy is tuition-free public school academy that opened its doors to the Flint community in the fall of 2004. Serving students in the kindergarten through twelfth grades.

**Madison Academy is seeking an additional board member. Any interested parties should provide a resume and letter of interest to the main school office.**

The following colleges will be conducting on-site admissions interviews at Madison.

This means you can receive a decision regarding your acceptance on that day! 

U of M-Flint: Wednesday, November 9 from 7:15 am until 8:30 am 

Mott Community College: Tuesday, November 22 from 7:30 am until 8:30 am 

Baker College: Wednesday, November 23 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm

Please stop by the office to sign up, as appointment times are going fast. You will need your transcript and SAT scores for your interview. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Rogers.

  • Baker College is hosting a Financial Aid Night on Thursday, November 10th at 6:00 p.m.  Also, Mott Community College is hosting a Financial Aid Workshop on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. You will be able to complete your FAFSA immediately following the workshop, so please make sure you and your parent(s) attend. See Ms. Rogers for more information or stop by the new Senior bulletin board across from Mr. Price’s classroom.

  • Attention all Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors interested in joining the military...the ASVAB Test will be administered at Madison on Tuesday, December 13th at 7:30 a.m. This test helps determine what jobs you would be successful in should you decide to join the military. Please stop by the office to sign up with Ms. Rogers.

  • Attention Seniors, if you’re interested in becoming a barber, Ms. Rogers has information, in the office, from the Flint Institute of Barbering. Their admissions process is a little different, so stop by to pick up a catalog and application for details.

The Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce is offering pre-employability leadership training to Genesee County high school students who are currently ages 14-18 (Grades 9-12). Please stop by the High School office to pick up an application.
